IntroductionISIS Arts is an artist led, visual and media arts organisation with an international programme of artist residencies, commissions and events. StructureISIS Arts is a not-for-profit organisation and receives revenue funding from Arts Council North East, and Newcastle City Council. Our new media studio has been made possible by support from the Lottery and Northern Rock Foundation and project support comes from local authorities, trusts and foundations, European transnational funds. Further partnerships are developed with regional universities and national and international arts organisations. AimsISIS creates quality arts projects to benefit individual artists, schools and communities alike, whilst promoting the professional status of the artist. ISIS has a media studio serving artists in the region and energetically promotes an interdisciplinary approach to the use of new media in the arts. ISIS is interested in projects which address issues of identity or belonging and prioritises projects which consider intercultural dialogue. ActivitiesISIS initiates and manages artist residencies, productions and exhibitions, and works with national and international artists on collaborative projects and events. Based in the centre of Newcastle, ISIS supports artist residencies and exchange. ISIS works with around 70 artists a year on its programme.
