Introduction

Educult – Institute for the Mediation of Arts and Science – The Platform for Cultural Education in Europe.

Educult is a link between cultural and educational policy connecting
  • theory and practice
  • expertise and interest
  • local, regional, national and international partners

Aims

Educult  is an international cultural policy research and consulting initiative with special focus on creative, cultural and artistic education

Educult promotes cultural education:
  • as a  major prerequisite for using the arts and science in the creation of a fulfilling personal and professional life
  • as decisive for the way we live and work
  • as it creates the necessary preconditions for active participation in society
  • as it is a necessary basis for social diversity
The Arts, Culture and Education are Indispensable for the Further Development of a Humane Society.

Social changes need orientation. Cultural learning processes develop the full potential of the learner, boosting key competencies such as self-confidence, self-esteem and problem solving ability and thereby mobility, flexibility and social integrity.

There is no better incentive for learning than the Arts and culture.
Educult aims to open up these opportunities –  together with its co-operation partners –  to all members of our communities.

Activities

Educult has the know-how to discover your cultural treasures, bring them to light and use them in a creative and productive way.

Educult offers public institutions and private companies target-oriented services in the fields of research, information exchange, contacting, consulting, programming, mediation and training.

Educult:
  • carries out research work in specialist fields
  • provides consulting for problem-solving and decision-making
  • offers a European platform for the exchange of information and experience
  • supports networking of cultural and educational institutions
