FUSIC – Arts and Culture Society Print


Introduction


FUSIC is a non–profit private foundation specialising in cultural and artistic management. One of its special features is offering culture to the whole society, without excluding anybody. It acts across the whole nation.

Structure


A board and a team of 20 professional specialists in cultural management.

Aims


  • Promotion and democratisation of culture.
  • The status of Catalan culture in the international area.
  • Support to the artistic creation in public spaces.

Activities


  • “La Ciutat de les Arts de carrer” (“The Street arts network”)” : A Catalan network supporting street arts with an international vision focused on training, artistic production and popular participation.
  • Bulevart: is a platform of resources dealing with amateur artistic proposals in Catalonia. It covers visual and performing arts, and Catalonian traditional heritage as a special feature (music, celebrations, etc…).
  • Viu el parc (The park Lives!): a programme dealing with environmental protection, as well as natural and cultural heritage promotion, by organising cultural events in Catalan natural parks.
  • Live music now! : a programme created by Yehudi Menuhin in which support is given to talented young musicians to improve their professionalism while performing for disadvantaged people
